Notes to Review in 20 sep 2018

Well, it’s September 21 of 2018, and I’m in my so called home, in Curitiba — Brasil, and… Yesterday was my birthday! Now I’m 21 yo… shat I’m so old I can already feel the spine hurting.

That’s my first post here on Medium, but luckily it won’t be the last one! I love to write, mainly on my notebooks, about me, my ideas, plans and any other stuff that pops on my mind while I’m doing that. So I think I should share that, at least to pledge myself to take of things from paper. And also to train my english, that isn’t from the better ones…

And that’s the reason why I’m writing this today. I will turn public a list of goals that I want to take action along this 21st year of my life. I’m also giving you a mission dear reader: you gotta charge me about that. That’s it, if you see me diverting much from my plans, you got the right to pull my ear and remember me that.

Things I should do until I’m 22

A list of the most important goals I want to achieve

Business & Project Related Goals

1. Launch my personal website: I was struggling with doing that since the beginning of 2016, and I haven’t wrote more than 100 lines of code to make this happen. The goal is to have an website with an ultra-UX, that is, provide the most profitable experience based on the user interests… I’m not going in much detail about that, but soon I’ll write something about it.
2. Get an Internship at some well known tech related company: I don’t have much to say about that… I need to face the job market, get the hands-on some new stuff, learn more, and not least important, make some money…
3. Elect me to Director of the Administrative-Financial department from where I work: Actually I work as Business Assessor at a Junior Enterprise called Ecomp, and every year we got the chance to elect ourselves to the roles of the Executive Directory, and it looks like a great opportunity to get management experience and new skills.
4. Help to Get our Software on the market: I’m also the Project Owner of our inner project “Midas” right there. This project is our biggest focus this year. So I got the responsibility of get this project on the rails, managing an 7 developers team, integrating our 5 team operation, maintaining the whole corporation aware of what’s going on and taking care of the feature description, and planning… So I’m a little anxious and happy to help helping on our first release there. This said, I think that is the most “short term” goal of this list.

Music Related Goals

1. Play in at least 3 gigs here on Curitiba: I’m out of the clubs with my project “Dropek” since I moved here. I missing that, missing the sensation of making people have fun while enjoying the music that I love… There are some complications to achieve this goal, such as equipment, but I’ll try my best to achieve this, and I know that is very possible!
2. Release 2 labeled tracks: First of all I already got one just waiting for the final polishment (mastering), it’s called Racha, a new baile track that I’ll be releasing by the label WILE OUT ASAP. If I can make that and finish/release another one, well… that will mean much to me.
3. Release the first EP of a new project: Me and my friend Euler have been working in some stuff together since 2015, we released our first track in the beginning of the year, and we decide to make our new project Thunder Bonde, that will focus in a whole more heavy new baile style.

Skill Related goals

1. Learn DEV skills: Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, NodeJS, Python, C++ are on top of the list.
2. Learn Financial skills: Stock market, cryptocurrencies, economy notions.

Fun & Hobbies Goals

1. Read at least 7 books: The habit of reading is something that I trying to develop, I was getting successful in the second semester of last year, but couldn’t get much time (at least I think I couldn’t get) as I wish during this year. Actually on my “on hold” list there is “The Startup Game”, “Neuromancer” and “The Power of Action”.
2. Go to at least 1 festival: I love to party and enjoy some great time listening to good music, that’s the minimum I could do to have some real Fun.
3. Do at least 1video: Every year I intend to do one year retrospective video, with the footage that I get along the year, this year it will not be different.
4. Do at least 2 campings on nature: I’m really messing around to do this one.
5. Watch at least 5 movies on Cinema: I live so close to 2 cinemas, why not?
6. Travel to at least 1 new place: Alone or accompanied I really should do this one, my soul is begging for that.
7. Do at least 10 posts, here on Medium: AHA, now it’s pledged! Not counting this one.
8. Begin writing a new book: No spoilers about this one right now.

Just finishing

And, that’s it, I’m clearly sure that lots of things are missing on that list, but at least that ones are pledged. And that’s not a excuse to not doing them.
